In Hamadan and Kermanshah Tour in 4 Days; you will visit both cities main attractions. Hamadan is one of the oldest cities, of not only Iran, but of the world. Its historical origins date back to several centuries before Christ. Hamadan, which was the summer capital of the Median and Achaemeidians was then called Ekbatan or Hegmataneh, meaning a place of assembly. Hamadan is one of the cradles of Oriental civilization with a legendary background.
Located at a distance of 190 km from Hamedan on the road connecting Baghdad to the Iranian Plateau, Kermanshah is a flourishing agricultural center in Iran. Though Kermanshah is not a very old town, it offers some attractions which make it historically outstanding. Bisotun inscriptions and bas – reliefs are historically of great importance. The 1200 line inscriptions of Bisotun give a full account of the reign of Darius, the Great (522 – 486 B.C), the Achaemenian king. Taqe Boston grottoes depict majestic Sassanian bas reliefs.
