Margoon waterfall :

waterfall is one of the most amazing and glorious waterfalls in Iran with a height of 70 m and a width of 100 m. It has been registered as a national natural wonder and every year thousands of visitors come to view this spectacular scenery. The hillside is densely covered with tall trees and combined with tall mountains covered with green moss, gives an exceptional majestic view. The water from Margoon waterfall leads a curvy path to reach and water the surrounding lands. Wild flowers grown in these lands are a complex of different flowers like wild tulips and the amazing up-side-down tulips and colorful mallow flowers, which will create an unforgettable experience for every visitor. 

Barm firooz lake and mountain

Trekking to the beautiful Barm Firooz lake, which feeds from melted snow, is located at 3350 m altitude. The lake gradually starts to flow from May, reaching its most glorious beauty in June. In June, visitors witness a spectacular scene, where on one side of the lake the footsteps of snow start to show up, while on the other side the land is covered with the green of lawn and the yellow of wild flowers.

In Iran Nomad Tribes Tour in 15 Days the Turkish-speaking tribesmen representing a dominant ethno-linguistic the Lursare group, and historically the most important political leverage, dwell among the high mountains of Fars province will be visited. Traditionally, they wintered on pastures in the foothills of the Zagros to south and west of Shiraz, near the Persian Gulf, and moved north to the mountains in the spring. Their dress is almost the same as that of the Bakhtiaris, except for the hat, which resembles Napoleonic headgear.

We will have the Nomad Tribes Tour in Iran in  15 days through with their migration route from lowlands of Fars province to highlands around Yasooj and Eqlid. We will see how this group of people has preserved their way of living for thousands of years and how they have come to a great coexistence with the nature and environment.

We will get to learn of their costumes and traditions, we see their dances, ceremonies, weddings…etc.

In Khorasan Butterfly Watching Tour you will visit Kopet-Dagh endemic butterflies and other animals. The next important collecting cite will be Tandooreh National park. Several locations in each of these areas will be examined and explored. In Nomad Spring Tour in Fars, you can visit the Qashghae nomads migration, their nomadic lifestyle and  foods.

Time: can be started on April to June
Duration: 4 to 10 day (2 day stay and 8 day traveling)

Based on the season, Nomads of south western Iran, Qashqae take different routes for their migration from lowlands to highlands of Zagros mountain ranges. There are a few different routes that we can accompany these nomad tribes in their quest. Each route can take them day till weeks to accomplish, however we won’t stay with them for the whole trip. Our suggested tours are usually 4 to 10 day based on the route.

Its historical origins date back to several centuries before Christ.  Hamadan, which was the summer capital of the Median and Achaemeidians was then called Ekbatan or Hegmataneh,meaning  a place of assembly. Hamadan is one of the cradles of Oriental civilization with a legendary background.
Located at a distance of 190 km from Hamedan on the road connecting Baghdad to the Iranian Plateau, Kermanshah is a flourishing agricultural center in Iran. Though Kermanshah is not a very old town, it offers some attractions which make it historically outstanding. Bisotun inscriptions and bas – reliefs are historically of great importance. The 1200 line inscriptions of Bisotun give a full account of the reign of Darius, the Great (522 – 486 B.C), the Achaemenian king. Taqe Boston grottoes depict majestic Sassanian bas reliefs.

AM: Drive via Qasre Bahram caravanserai to impressive flat expanses of Great Salt Lake which we follow alongside, also passing waterholes and Siah Kuh mountains where we might watch the elusive wild antilopes, to the ruins of 400 years old royal Sefidabad hunting castle and from there to lonely Sefid Ab park ranger station.

Location: Sefid Ab/ Qamsar
AM: Drive across edge of Great Salk Lake passing scenery with huge sand dunes stopping at Marenjab oasis/caravanserai and further through Aran town with sanctuary of Helal ebn Ali to Kashan where we visit the Bazar with Timche or AgheBozorg Medresse, from there we drive to the Qamsar, a village in the rosewater production area at the heart fo Karkas mountain.

Day 5
Location: Qamsar/ Kuhe Rang river/ Dimeh
AM: Drive to via Feridunshahr and through settlements of Bakhtiari Nomads like Maydanak to Chelgerd with water tunnel feeding Zayandehrud River, from there we make a trekking excursion to spring of Kuhe Rang river, after return we drive a few kilometers to the well at Dimeh in nomad country.
Overnight: Camping

Day 6
Location: Dimeh/ Shahr-e Kord
AM: The full day we spend visiting Bakhtiari nomads in settlements and black tents in the breathtaking scenery of Kuhe Rang and Kuhe Zard mountain regions passing Shahryari, Samsami and Juneqan where we visit the Sardar Asad Bakhtiari castle, in the evening arriving at Shahr-e Kord.

Day 7
Location: Shahr-e Kord – Yasouj
AM: Drive via Shalamzar to beautiful Choghkor Lake, from there through lovely mountain scenery with nomads, shepherds and small settlements via Gandoman, Javanmardi, to Sendegan spring and continue through impressive Zagros mauntains to Yasouj.
Overnight: Camping

Day 8
Location: Jasouj – Parishan
AM: Drive through area with Mamasani nomad settlements to Sasanid city of Bishapour, rock reliefs in Tang-e Chowgan and hiking up to Shapour Cave with monumental statue, then continue to Parishan, one of the few sweetwater lakes in central Iran. This belongs to the area of Qashqai nomads. O/N in Tent
Our daily visits would be included special Iranian dinner at a local traditional restaurant or outdoor area.

Day 9
Location: Parishan/ Shiraz
AM: Drive through Qashqai nomad area to Firouzabad where we visit the Sasanid Palace, after excursion on tribal migration trails to Konar Siah fire temple we return to Firuzabad where we can visit the Sasanid round city and/ or walk up to Sasanid Castle, continue to Shiraz.

Day 10
Location: Shiraz/ Persepolis
AM: In the morning visit Hafez Tomb, Vakil Bazaar and the Holy Shrine of Shah Cheragh, drive to former Achaemenid residence of Persepolis (UNESCO World Heritage) and Naghsh-e Rostam rock tombs.
Overnight: Camping

Day 11
Location: Persepolis/ Isfahan
AM: Drive to Isfahan, en route visit Pasargade with Cyrus tomb, Izadkhast (from graveyard view the ruined village and caravansarai), Aminabad Caravansarai.

Location: Isfahan/ Baghmish:
AM: In the morning visit Jame Mosque & the Fruit Market. At noon drive via picturesque small mosques of Dashti and Barsian to pigeon towers in Ezhyeh, from there to the lonely fortresslike caravanserai of Yaghmish.

Day 13
Location: Baghmish/ Abyaneh
AM: Drive via Aqda, Nain where we visit carpet weaving place and Pirnia House with ethnological museum (Friday mosque optional), Natanz where we visit the Friday mosque and ceramics maker, continue to picturesque mountain village of Abyaneh.

Location: Abyaneh/ Tehran
AM: Drive to Tehran via Qum and visit Qum Sanctuary (only possible from outside), continue to Tehran, in Tehran late afternoon free at leisure or Mellat Park resp. Jamshidieh Park, in the evening Farewell Dinner at traditional restaurant.

AM: Transfer to the International Airport for departure flight.
