Yazd Water Museum
Water organization of Yazd has established this museum, which shows different shapes of jugs and water vessels. It is placed at Kolahdouz-ha house, Amir Chakhmagh square. Yazd places to see, Yazd sightseeing Yazd Chehel Mehrab Mosque Khajeh Shams-al din Mohammad has constructed this monument in 13th century. It"s known as such a name because of applying of forty prayer niches in the prayer niche. Presently, six of them have remained, only. Yazd Hajj Yusef Reservoir This reservoir has been constructed in the Qajar period and with two openings and brick applying, it had supplied water of Hajj Yusef and Sarpelk districts.
Yazd Iranshahr School Established in 1898. Yazd Mortazian House This monument has been constructed in the Qajar period.
Yazd Mas"oudi Reservoir Mirza Morteza Mas"oudi has founded this reservoir in the Pahlavi time. Yazd Seyed Shams-al din Mausoleum This monument has been built in 1364. This monument includes high portico, painting and stucco. The high portico consists of mosaic and variegated tile works. There is a big medallion at the center, and beautiful floral designs at the corner of the ceiling of high portico. Baha-al din Farrash"s marble gravestone is placed into the portico, which shows date of 850A.H. (1444 A.D.). Yazd Seyed Rokn-al din Mausoleum This monument has been constructed in 1323 and is Seyed Roknaddin Mohammad Ghazi"s tomb. This construction consists of dome, stuccos of arabesque lines inside the high portico, stalactite works at the four corners of the monument, and also high prayer niche. There are ornaments of brickwork and Kufic & cursive scripts on the walls and even ceiling, which are painted by watercolor, inside the mausoleum. Yazd Fahraj Jaame" Mosque This mosque has been built by mud brick and mud mortar in 30 km. to east of Yazd. Its construction date backs to the first years of Islam. This mosque enjoys special importance in history of Islamic-Iranian architecture. The thick columns and cover of the vault are in method of surge cradle. The minaret has constructed by mud and it belongs to the later periods.
Yazd Davazdah Imam Mausoleum It is including 12 single domes and has been constructed by command of Abu Saeed and Abu Ya"ghoub, of Ala-al doleh Faramarz"s governors, in 1031. The monument consists of an inscription in Kufic script above the facade installed upon the margin of floral patterns, and also Fakhreddin Esfajaroudi"s gravestone - of great Sheikhs of 14th century - in the size of 60 X 92 cm, which are interesting for viewers of this mausoleum. Yazd Sheikh Ahmad Fahadan Mausoleum This monument is the tomb of Sheikh Ahmad and his brother from Esfanjaroud. These two have been Gnostics of their age who came to the Yazd and resided in Fahadan district. A break dome with tile worked wind catchers in the shape of square and mosaic tile worked prayer niche have remind of primary monument, only.
Yazd Shahzadeh Fazel Shrine This shrine known as the tomb of Fazel Ibn Mussa, one of His Holiness Imam Kazem"s grandchildren. However, some of historians have doubted to the truth of this relation. It is said Amir Mobarez-al din has founded this monument. Some of historians have known this place as the tomb of Pir-e Borj, so it is respectable for Zoroastrian"s, too. Yazd Arab-ha House Two small and big houses constitute this monument. It belongs to Hajj Mirza Ahmad Arab and located in Sarghadamgah, near to Chehel Mehrab Mosque, Fahadan district. Interior decorations of big house include of stalactite worked five-door front pieces, hall, doors and also stuccos of niches and their spacings. Interior decorations of small house include of mirror-worked rooms, color paintings of the walls, carved doors and stuccos of courtyard walls bodies. One of the room"s painting dates backs to 1860. Master Ali Akbar, Master Bagher"s son, has built the small house of this complex in 1877. Hajj Kazem Rasoulian House With over one century old, this house includes of two separated parts in the form of indoor and outdoor, located in the Sahl Ibn Ali district. The outdoor part had been used for entertaining the guests and doing rituals in commemoration of His Holiness Imam Hossein"s martyrdom. The large sash room with stained glasses, pond, parlor of basement and wind catcher constitute the main space of outdoor. The indoor part, where is the private part of the house, consists of three-door sash rooms of parlor, pavilion and wind catcher which is located around a large and luxuriant courtyard that is containing a big pond in the middle. It"s one of the valuable houses of Yazd Yazd Malak-altojjar House This distinguished house has belonged to the Malak-altojjar and constructed 120 years ago. Entrance of the house, like other houses in the method of those days, is placed at a long and narrow alley with very high walls. Decorations of the rooms are as the same as other old houses. The paintings of the house rooms are works of a painter from Shiraz, so they are the same as the paintings of Narenjestan Edifice in Shiraz, perfectly. This house is changed to a traditional inn, presently. 
Yazd Lari-ha House With an area of 1700 sq. m and substructure of 1200 sq. m, this house is constructed in 1868 and it had belonged to Hajj Mohammad Ibrahim Lari, which has used as Ne"matollahi Monastery, previously. Painted and mirror worked doors, windows, sashes and rooms are of the beautiful and excellent samples of aristocratic houses of the 19th century. Yazd Zia"ieh School This monument is known as Eskandar prison and it belongs to 1231. Sharaf-al din Alirazi is founder of this school and it is placed adjacent to Davazdah Imam Mausoleum, in Fahadan district.
Yazd Zoroastrians" Catacomb Catacomb means Cemetery of Geber in Persian culture. Two catacombs are located on a high hill, about Safaieh district, in the south end part of Yazd city. The old one is known as Hanjaki Hatria (Indian extraction Zoroastrian), and newer one as Golestan. There is a stony hole between these two where Zoroastrians throw down their dead ones. This monument belongs to the Qajar period. The diameter of Golestan catacomb is 25m and height of the wall is 6m, from the hill level. The diameter of Hanjaki catacomb is 15m. Yazd Zoroastrians" Fire Temple This construction is related to the Zoroastrians, including a building and luxuriant garden where has been built in the recent century. It is placed in Ayatollah Kashani St. The Holy Fire, what is respectable for Zoroastrians, lasting 1500 years, is kept and cared in this place. Its primary construction is placed in the middle of the courtyard and on a height and is surrounded by evergreen trees. A large round pond makes a beautiful view at the entrance. The Fire is kept in a case higher than the ground, far from sunshine. There are rooms for rituals about the monument. 
Yazd Khan Bath It is known as Noor caldarium, too. With an area of 1170 sq. m and substructure of 900 sq. m, its construction date backs to 1796. It has been reconstructed and redecorated in 1826. The ornaments of Khan Bath are very simple so that the paintings of dais part are the most important decorations. 
Yazd Dolat Abad Garden It"s one of the famous Iranian gardens, which has designed and built in Mohammad Taghi Khan time (the Zand period). An aqueduct with the same name irrigates the garden and water flow constitutes the structure of its design. The composing elements of the complex are: Edifice of south front piece, camel stalls and stables, seraglio and vestibule edifices and wind catcher, kitchen, Behesht-e Aien edifice, mirror hall edifice, major front piece and two-opening reservoir. Vestibule edifice and wind catcher form the most interesting construction of this complex, in which the combination of air and water flows has done in a very beautiful shape. With the height of 33m, wind catcher of Dolat Abad garden is the engineering masterpiece and genius indicator of Yazd architects. Yazd Shesh Badgiri Reservoir In desert cities like Yazd, value of water is felt more than other places. There are over 75 reservoirs in this city. This reservoir includes of six wind catchers and it has constructed 180 years ago in Qajar period. Having two openings is privilege of this historical monument, which consists of stalactite worked ornaments. There are 55 steps, including a portico with brick flagging at 25th & 26th steps, in the south part. Yazd Khan Bazaar
Its construction date backs to Naser-al din Shah time. Its dissimilar structure and distinct width indicate that it has constructed gradually. With the length of 258m and height of 4-6m, there are 53 shops in north-south side and 100 shops in east-west side.
Yazd Zargari Bazaar Its ancientness backs to 18th or 19th century. The bazaar is 94m. long, 3m. wide and 3m. high. There are 53 shops in this bazaar. Yazd Saat Square This square has been built in second half of 14th century.
Yazd Archways , dalan The covered alleys and passages are the obvious specifications of the old Yazd"s parts, which are called archway. Protecting the heatstroke ones in the desert, against the sunshine, had been the main purpose of constructing of these archways. In the most of the archways, one entrance is used by a number of houses. This unity increases the solidarity of the people in a block. The neighboring houses usually use roof of the archways. Stable doors have being installed at the entrance of some of the dead end archways, which are called Darband. Yazd Sahl Ibn Ali Mausoleum This mausoleum has been built on the great Sheikh Jamal al-Islam"s sepulcher in 1085.
