:: Iran Languages:

Persian, constitutional status for regional languages such as Azeri, Kurdish and Caspian[1]. There are tens of minor languages and dialects spoken around Iran. English and Arabic are thought throughout Middle , High school and University.

Iranian Rials . Each US$ is approximately exchanged about 9200 rails . Credit cards, Debit card or ATM  are not widely accepted. Traveler's checks are hardly accepted . Cash is the main way of purchasing goods or services.

:: Iran Climate and Temperature:

Iran's climate is mostly arid or semiarid, to subtropical along the Caspian coast and the northern forests. On the northern edge of the country (the Caspian coastal plain) temperatures nearly fall below freezing and it remains humid for the rest of the year. Summer temperatures rarely exceed 29 C (85 F).[25][26] Annual precipitation is 680 mm (27 in) in the eastern part of the plain and more than 1,700 mm (67 in) in the western part. To the west, settlements in the Zagros basin experience lower temperatures, severe winters with below zero average daily temperatures and heavy snowfall. The eastern and central basins are arid, with less than 200 mm (eight in) of rain, and have occasional deserts.[26] Average summer temperatures exceed 38 C (100 F). The coastal plains of the Persian Gulf and Gulf of Oman in southern Iran have mild winters, and very humid and hot summers. The annual precipitation ranges from 135 to 355 mm (five to fourteen inches).[26]

::  Iran Internet Access:

The Internet has become enormously popular among the Iranian youth. Internet access is readily available on most places and at many hotels Iran is now the world's fourth largest country of bloggers. You can find Internet cafs all over Iran. There is however server filtering policy in place.

:: Iran Accommodations:

Luxury and normal hotels, guesthouse are available. The service quality is not consistent and varies place to place. Hotel fares are pre set by government. A guesthouse room for single person is about 10$ per night, for the same room in 1,2,3,4,5 star hotels you might be paying 20, 30, 40, 60 and 120$ respectively , as an average estimation.

:: Iran Transportation:

Transportation options include Shared taxi, buses, city buses, air plane, train and ferry. Car rental without diver is close to non existence. Domestic flights are limited but very cheap, booking ahead of time is highly recommended.

:: Iran Clothing:

No casual dressing, highly exposing body part are allowed. Islamic dress code enforced. Bring a light Shirt  and long pants . T shirts are ok for men but no shorts in public. Women should cover their bodies. Check this link for actual pictures.

::  Tipping in Iran:

No standard exist, but 10 to 15% in restaurants is a good gesture.
